The Morning Star Singers is a group of volunteer singers who offer
songs of healing and comfort to those struggling with living or dying.
We sing for free at hospices, hospitals, nursing homes, and private
homes within the Twin Cities.
Fifty Lanterns International is a Minnesota-based nonprofit
organization that partners with established humanitarian groups to provide
disadvantaged communities with renewable energy sources such as solar-power
lights, lanterns, and water pumps.
Ever since I heard about 50 Lanterns work, I have been
finding ways to support them. I lead regular song circles that benefit
their work (see calendar) and a recent CD (Coming Home -- see product
catalog) also helps purchase solar technology for people in need.

the world through vision in action.
Heartland's network and programs serve those called to be our social
and organizational pioneers—those who are restoring wholeness
to themselves, their organizations, and their communities.
I have been the 'muse's for Heartland's Thought Leader

at the Bay Area gatherings whenever I'm able. These gatherings have
offered me rich insights and warm relationships as well as wonderful
ideas for songs.
